The purpose of the Woody Creek Community Center is to provide opportunities to forge the bonds of a strong community.
A not-for-profit organizationAs our local workforce finds itself commuting longer distances, the opportunity to meet with each other face to face, instead of windshield to windshield, is threatened. With soaring real estate prices in the Roaring Fork valley around Aspen, finding space where groups and neighbors can meet is a rare commodity, and we’ve got it in Woody Creek!
There is no charge for groups (friends, organizations, boards, etc.) to meet during business hours in the public area of WC3. However, to help support WC3, they are expected to buy coffee, breakfast, lunch, or other offerings. Groups desiring privacy must make rental arrangements.
- WC3 is always ready for planned and impromptu meetings and events. It’s a convenient location for both the upper and lower valley.
- The heart of the community center is our daily Coffee Shop operation. Meet for our triple-organic coffee drinks, cookies, and pastries. Open 7 days a week.
- Our famous “Rumble Strip” – a panini-grilled breakfast or lunch sandwich
- Stop by in the afternoon for a glass of wine in our licensed Tasting Room for Woody Creek Cellars, an award-winning winery based in the Grand Valley region of Colorado www.woodycreekcellars.com
When friends first walk into the living room of this small log house, they tell us how welcoming and cozy it feels. From the wicker armchairs by the fire, to the many kitchen tables and wooden chairs, this is a place you will recognize as ‘home.’
